Guard Your Heart | 36"x48" Original Abstract

After a restorative hiatus, I was ready to paint big and have fun with color and texture. When finished, I noticed a prominent patch of the reddish-magenta color and almost toned it down. Something stopped me and after a while I realized it felt like a heart. The following verse is written on the back of the canvas:

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23
